A relative bought this light up flamingo for our yard. That way, we and our neighbors could enjoy it both day and night. "Sadly", it broke when we were trying to put the batteries in the base, a la the leg lamp.

this belongs with the flamingo on cake wrecks today.
My cousin had a speech impediment. He used to call flamingos flinglingos. I think it's appropriate for this that it was flinged and it goed.
Maybe it broke while it was doing some flamingo dancing.
